In each class you will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage in a brief meditation while taking a collective breath and setting the intention for the evening

  • Receive a beginner-level art lesson while practicing the mindful theme of the evening

  • Express your thoughts and feelings with the group

  • Re-engage with the collective breath—with a closing gratitude & loving awareness meditation

  • Release, let go, and allow as we say goodbye

I believe it is important to set up your creative space and set boundaries for yourself and loved ones in order to be fully present in the moment.

Suggestions to set up your space:

  • A quiet space and time set aside for you spend about a hour and a half with us

  • A table or flat space that is big enough to accommodate all of your painting tools

  • A comfy chair, pillow, or yoga ball to sit on

  • Light a candle if you can

  • A delightful comforting beverage—depending on your mood (mine is either a glass of wine or an iced matcha)

  • Let your friends and family know you will be unavailable for a couple hours

  • Set your devices on silent if you can

  • Wear comfy clothes/clothes you don’t mind getting paint on

  • If you are a sage crystal person (like I am) please feel free to set those up in the way that feels best for you
